Truth is "yes you can!"
With today's gas prices ever rising and becoming a top concern of American consumers the thought of looking for a second vehicle has crossed the minds of many. Not all of us can easily afford to own a second car especially one we must make payments on as well as insure, register, etc.
This leaves the option of various two wheeled forms of transportation motorcycles, scooters, etc. Which no doubt are a great option and can be fairly cheap (and Honda ruckuses are actually pretty cool). Unfortunately, not everyone may be willing or able to use this type of vehicle so a car or truck is a must.
Now of course when it comes to finding the right vehicle that will conserve on fuel and run with out problems I think the choices are obvious as the Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda brands tend to fit the bill quite nicely. What many may not know is that you do not need to go to the dealership and spend a fortune on another car that is supposedly to "save" you money. In fact you can easily pick up a second vehicle that maybe you just wish to drive for your daily commute for under $ 1000 bucks!
Now I know what your thinking $ 1000 bucks? Wont it be a piece of junk? Well the answer is yes and no. Yes cars in that price range can be junk, but you would be amazed at how many great running and driving vehicles are out there for under $ 1000. If you just need them for a certain time frame or purpose then what do you have to lose by purchasing a whole car for the price of a single payment?
The market for cheap used gas savers is driving prices up but do not be a fool and pay $ 3000 for that Geo metro with a hole in the cloth roof … If you search in the right place you can find the right vehicle at the right price.
